
Meet the Team

Executive Director
Randa Elsayed
Randa Elsayed (she/her) is the Founder and co-director of the Unframed Arts Collective, an Archivist at Third Streaming, a social justice advocate, and an artist looking to serve communities in need however she best can. In 2024, she was awarded the Spirit Award at Xavier Mission for her devotion to serving communities in need and also appeared as a panel speaker for events at the Artist Endowed Foundation Initiative via the Aspen Institute as well as Studio Institute to discuss her experience as a young advocate. As a Smith Fellow, a Barbara Price Scholar, and Kenan Scholar, Randa worked hard to promote the voices of the underserved through various community oriented projects. She has had art pieces illuminating her experience as a young Arab American displayed in multiple exhibitions. A graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Randa earned her degree in Philosophical Perspectives in Art, Law, and Justice, with a secondary focus on Intergenerational Gender Studies. She aspires to decolonize institutional spaces as a future lawyer and nonprofit founder. Randa hopes to break boundaries by not only telling her story through the arts but providing a safe space for others to tell their stories and find strength in unity and community.

Executive Director
Stephanie Gonzalez
Stephanie (she/her) is the Co-Founder of The Unframed Arts Collective and a member of the social media team. As a painter, she takes on the role of photographer and videographer, leveraging her understanding of the creative process to capture the intimate moments of art-making and showcase the connection between the guest’s hands and their unfolding artwork. A public servant from Queens, New York, she has served at the city, state, and federal levels. As an advocate for people experiencing homelessness, Stephanie is dedicated to advancing a more just future for New York City. In her leisure time, Stephanie enjoys sharing dim-sum with her family in Chinatown, people-watching, and discovering the next pastry to indulge in.

Assistant Director
Emely Juarez-Cisneros
Emely (she/her) is the Assistant Director of The Unframed Arts Collective. She is a Salvadoran native New Yorker who has always had a passion for creating accessible art spaces. She is a firm believer that art fosters community, and sees this realized every session at UAC. Emely began at the organization as a volunteer, and fell in love with its mission to bring people together through art and give people a safe space to practice creativity. She graduated from Macaulay Honors College in 2024 with a Bachelors in Gender Studies and Forensic Psychology with a minor in Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys film photography, playing soccer, and going to museums.

Director of Adult Programs
Ioanna Savopoulos
Ioanna (she/her) is the Adult Programming Director of the Unframed Arts Collective. She is currently studying Psychology and Studio Art at Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College, with aspirations to become a licensed art teacher in New York. Ioanna hopes to cultivate an environment where everyone is welcome to express and explore themselves through art! If you catch Ioanna in her free time, she's probably dancing, going on long walks, or fiddling with her film camera she still doesn't know how to use.

Director of Information Technology
Lauren Galarza
Lauren (she/her) is the Director of Information Technology at The Unframed Arts Collective. She is pursuing an undergraduate Computer Science degree at CUNY Hunter College. Lauren developed and maintains the UAC website, along with helping to fulfill our other technological needs. Additionally, she will be assisting guests with resume and online portfolio building. She regularly volunteers at sessions, and loves connecting with guests in an environment full of warmth, curiosity, and humanity. In her free time, Lauren watches too many movies, paints, and hangs out with her cat.

Director of Children's Programs
Mireyda Gonzalez
Mireyda (she/her) is the Director of Children's Programs at The Unframed Arts Collective. She is majoring in Childhood Education and has a minor in Spanish. She wants to become an elementary school teacher as she loves working with children, getting to hear what they have to say and all the ideas they have. She plans the workshops that get implemented every session with the goal of creating activities that the children enjoy and can look forward to!

Director of Special Events
Kristen Song
Kristen (any pronouns) is the Director of Events at The Unframed Art Collective. Kristen is a sophomore at Hunter College who is currently studying Psychology, Chinese, and Media. She has always been interested in creating communities around art and planning events. As an Event Coordinator at UAC, Kristen loves that it provides a space for new connections to be made between artists, old and new. Whether it comes from making fun workshops or organizing book reading events, Kristen is motivated to keep supporting UAC in providing more spaces for comfort and artistic inspiration.

Programs Consultant
Zenayah Roaché
Zenayah Roaché brings over six years of experience in the nonprofit sector, driven by her passion for improving the lives of individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. As a person with lived experience (PLE), she is dedicated to creating innovative policies and programs in this field. An alumna of Columbia University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, Zenayah is currently pursuing a MPA at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) with a focus on Housing Policy. She aims to integrate her personal, professional, and academic experiences to become a holistic expert in housing and homelessness.

Director of Guest Resources
Isabella Bustamante
Isabella (she/her) is the Director of Guest Services at The Unframed Arts Collective. She helps collect resources for those interested, aiming to help find solutions as best as possible. Her motivation to assist others has always been importand to her, lending a hand wherever possible. Isabella wishes to continue spreading love and awareness to those around her. She also loves exploring the city, watching films, and writing!

Special Services Coordinator
Katie Davis
Katie Davis (she/her) is the Special Services Coordinator at The Unframed Arts Collective. A former Kenan Scholar with Xavier Mission and a longtime volunteer with UAC, Katie recognized the importance for safe, community-centered art spaces where individuals can express themselves via various artistic mediums.
She recently earned her degree in Human Services and Community Justice from Macaulay Honors College at John Jay College. Deeply committed to transformational change for underserved communities, Katie is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, with a focus on community organizing.
In her free time, Katie enjoys thrifting, collecting vinyl records and CDs, and practicing film photography.

Social Media Manager
Alaa Mady
Alaa is a psychology major on the pre med track at Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York. She hopes to make a real impact in the medical field by supporting underrepresented communities and bringing attention to places that need more care. Volunteering with The Unframed Arts Collective has been an eye opening experience, inspiring her to keep finding ways to make a difference. Outside of school, Alaa enjoys creating digital art, a hobby she’s been passionate about for years, which helps her explore her creativity and connect with others. She also finds inspiration in the outdoors and in books.
