Community Initiatives

Our programs have grown as we’ve accommodated the different populations that utilize our space and considered how else we can serve the community. We now offer a community library, ‘take-out’ art activities for kids, and school supplies for all ages. We offer housing and vocational services and English as a second language resources.

Recently added to our offerings is the addition of a community post board that can be a resource for our guests. As we continue to assess our community needs, we have begun an employment opportunities program as well as case-by-case support services for individuals who are in urgent need of housing or other resources.

Toy Drive

The Unframed Arts Collective hosted a toy drive and distribution to support houseless New Yorkers and migrant families in need. They collected a variety of toys, including games, dolls, and creative activity sets. The initiative aimed to bring joy and holiday cheer to children and teens in the community. Donations were distributed at their gallery space, creating a festive and heartwarming event for families.

School Supplies Drive

The Unframed Arts Collective hosted a school supplies drive to support houseless New Yorkers and migrant families in need. They collected essential educational materials, including backpacks, notebooks, writing tools, and art supplies. The initiative aimed to help children and teens access the tools they needed for a successful school year.
