We offer New York City-based artists essential information on grant opportunities, affordable studio spaces, residencies, exhibition calls, legal resources for creatives, and networking events, to help them navigate the city’s vibrant art scene.
 

Grants

The Woodman Family Foundation Housing Stability Grant for Artists (WFF HSG) provides grants of $30,000, distributed over three years, to NYC-based visual artists in need who are seeking support for stable housing.

Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants

The Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need

LMCC  - Creative Engagement Funds

Creative Engagement is an arts funding program that provides seed grants to individual artists and nonprofit organizations for projects and activities that offer Manhattan communities diverse artistic experiences.

ChaShaMa provides free presentation space for visual artists, performers and curators. These opportunities are in highly visible venues in a range of locations throughout the city.

ChaShaMa - Space to Create

ChaShaMa provides affordable workspace for visual artists. We currently have studios throughout New York City, upstate New York, and Matawan, New Jersey.

ChaShaMa - Space to Connect

ChaShaMa collaborates with local organizations to create free arts programming in NYC. The programs are  focused on increasing marginalized communities’ access to the arts.
