We hope to equip participants with the necessary tools to create their artistic vocabulary necessary for self expression. We will be strong defenders of the freedom of artistic expression and the voices of our guests.

We believe that a part of addressing the worth of an individual is respecting the identity of each individual we serve. Exposure to different cultures of other groups would equip individuals with the literacy and compassion to engage with others outside of themselves. 

We understand our culture’s systematic marginalization of minority groups and unhoused populations. We actively work to support and uplift Xavier guests through our workshops, and collaborate with Xavier Mission and other support networks to address inequity.

We believe that an integral aspect of our work will be fostering the continuation of a safe space focused on motivating participants to feel comfortable expressing their ideas and beliefs in a calm atmosphere. 

We will go beyond traditional art workshops to provide a space of healing where participants can reconnect with themselves. Art prompts participants to feel emotions they are not usually able to engage with which then translates to the works they will create.
